A Fall Festival to Remember!
Updated: 9 hours ago
What an incredible day at Carter G. Woodson School’s Fall Festival, Farm Open House & Día de los Muertos Celebration! On Saturday, October 24, our school community came together for an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, culture, and celebration at The Farm.
From live music and student performances to games, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts, delicious fall treats, local vendors, and farm tours, there was something for everyone to enjoy! We were also excited to celebrate the addition of our three new pavilions at The Patch with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony.
A special shoutout to DJ Legends, who kept the energy high, the music going, and everyone on their feet dancing throughout the celebration! You helped make the day even more memorable! A heartfelt thank you to our faculty, staff, families, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and community partners who helped make this event possible. Your support and participation made the day truly special.
We are grateful for everyone who joined us and helped celebrate the growth of The Farm and the wonderful community that makes Carter G. Woodson School so special. We can't wait to do it again next year!
